They Picketed For Nothing?

Toronto Public Library has been on strike for almost 14 days. The Library union finally came to a contract with the Library board (which is the city council committee that runs the library) yesterday and the agreement was ratified by library staff last night. As of today (Friday, March 30) all libraries will be OPEN. You can wager I shall be at my local branch with bells on, to find some books to learn!
I have just got back from the collection – and have finally picked up some new books to read. But the simple things I used to be informed about the strike, the union and the Library Board are surprising! 1 – The biggest thing that is upsetting the employees is the way the Library Union has screwed all the employees. The Union decreed that they might pay just out hit money to people employees who have been out there picketing for 10 full business days. The hit finished after just 9 business times so NOONE will be paid any hit money at all!
2 – the Agreement that was ratified says that employees with 11 years seniority or more will get the job security – a person with a decade or less can still be fired. Whether that is without cause or at will, I don’t know. I think a fairer agreement should have gone to give job security to those who have showed their loyalty and worked there for at the least 5 or 6 years. So they continued strike for nothing at all? They picketed for nothing at all? They continued strike to get more job security.
Only those people who have proved helpful for 11 years or more got that security. Everyone else is screwed. If the library is privatized, then for the new owners to make a revenue, they would not purchase any or many new books, and all books, magazines, videos. DVDs and music CDs would cost money to be lent now. I’d not be surprised if they also charged people (and kids) to use the computers as well. I could remember back to New Zealand a long time ago when certain books (most likely the high demand books) were loaned out for 10 or 20 cents, and I never bothered to borrow those books just.
I delivered an issue to Groupon and in exchange I received an email from a Groupon representative saying that the office had an overload of individuals that these were trying to accommodate. I am disappointed in Groupon extremely. Thank heavens I hadn’t spent several hundred dollars on the deal. Up to now, I haven’t experienced any issues with the offers I’ve purchased from livingsocial.
I think I’ll stick to them. No reason to gamble on a Groupon. I will be sure to let others know of Groupon’s stance on customer complaints. Is it a great deal to ask for an organization to stand by its the guarantee of client satisfaction? A voucher was bought by me for Chiropractic classes with groups in Ruler Chiropractic in Cornhill street.
It is a Scam. I paid £39 for 1 appointment and 3 follow-up consultations there. The first discussion took around 15 minutes (mostly speaking), second one whooping 3 minutes. Both were scams 1 for Babble ..The voucher code didn’t work and one for car audio, which I now have been waiting 9 weeks to allow them to send the products!

I have some problems with groups. I had developed to however demand a refund, groups wouldn’t normally refund credit cards just offered a credit to account. I could not cancel the order or get refunded the money. It is advisable to stay from them away, 3 months back I paid and purchased for a laser locks remover from them. After 3 months, still no item after an exhausting fight of emails is informed Direct has my money and that and no discount has been redeemed. Find Direct won’t answer their telephone or email messages Then.
I have spoken to PayPal who say because they have informed individuals who postage will take 6 weeks sadly PayPal can’t help (45-Day cut off) so here I am questioning how I’m getting my money back. My encounters of groups are mixed. The group on vouchers themselves have always come through quickly and there’s never been a problem there but I think maybe the companies they are available the vouchers for possibly sometimes scams.
